This invention came out of the need to take care of my bedridden mother. The most critical aspect was a sizeable stage 3 bedsore in the tailbone area. It is most difficult bedsore location to heal since it always bears weight, especially the entire upper body weight when sitting. Such a bedsore cannot be healed without professional help.
I used my invention to completely heal the bedsore at home with zero professional help. I also extended the invention to address other major pain points of patient care, to enable 10x better patient care.
50 to 100 million people worldwide are bedridden due to old age, disease, injury or recovery, either permanently or for a period of time. Taking care of them is exhausting, stressful, expensive and often takes a toll on the mental health of caregivers.
There are no products or systems available for comprehensively taking care of severely immobile or bedridden patients, making it a significantly large unmet need globally. The Complete Patient Care System is an invention that fulfils this need and is the first of its kind in the world.
