A nasogastric (NG) tube is used when someone can’t eat or swallow properly, providing liquid food, medicines, or fluids directly to the stomach for short-term support, or for draining the stomach due to blockages, poisoning, or to prevent aspiration.

The invention is a rethinking of the nasogastric feed tube to eliminate common issues, to make it better to administer and manage and with higher level of comfort for the patient.

  • removes discomfort and irritation which usually make patients pull out the tube
  • makes it easier to insert the tube
  • eliminates misplacement into respiratory tract which is dangerous
  • makes feeding easier
  • eliminates tube blockage
  • eliminates involuntary aspiration of stomach contents
